March 2018 Luncheon - S. Paul Provenza, Oil & Gas Attorney

Baton Rouge attorney and active LAPL member S. Paul Provenza will be the guest speaker at our March meeting. His talk will be centered on ‘E&P Permitting & Regulatory’ in the Oil Patch, with emphasis on Louisiana state agencies (OOC, OMR, DEQ, etc). 

Paul has worked on over 700 projects located in over 70 parishes or counties in seven different states since 1990. His work has mostly focused on permitting and regulatory work with Louisiana state agencies such as the Office of Conservation, Office of Mineral Resources, DEQ, Dept. of Revenue, as well as several other state/federal/local governmental agencies. He has also practiced insurance defense law.

A native of Shreveport, Paul graduated from LSU Law School in 1979 with a Juris Doctor. He is married to the former Charlotte Sartain of Baton Rouge, and they have three adult sons.
