SPECIAL SUPPLY COLLECTION FOR NEEDY VETERANS – PLEASE SEE BELOW
You won’t want to miss this one!! Retired Lt. Colonel Greg Ellison, West Point Graduate, decorated combat veteran, and part owner of Kitty Hawk Energy, a local oil & gas exploration company, will join us this coming Friday, November 9, 2017 in the Walnut Room in the Petroleum Club as guest speaker for our LAPL luncheon meeting. Mr. Ellison will help us honor our members who have served in the U. S. Armed Forces and mark Veteran’s Day which has become a favorite annual event! All LAPL members but especially LAPL members that are Veterans encouraged to attend! And we thank our luncheon sponsors: Coastal Land Services, Discovery Land Group and Michael J. Broussard Land Services, for their continued support of LAPL and our land profession!!!
Also, at the Veteran’s Day luncheon this Friday, in order to help serve veterans in nursing homes many of whom have no family, we will be collecting the following items on behalf of the Galvez Chapter of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution (DAR): Q-tips, shampoo, cologne, mouthwash, men’s deodorant and cash for the purchase of hats and gloves. Monetary donations can be made to Galvez Chapter. Please keep these heroes in your minds and hearts when you see these items throughout the year at Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Please note that supplies and/or monetary contributions can be made at the luncheon this Friday, November 9!
