Veteran's Day Luncheon
Guest speaker: Mr. Peter Hebert
He is a Lafayette native, served 6+ years in the Air Force, after 3 years of ROTC at USL. He was commissioned an officer in 1973 and was discharged as a captain in 1979. During the Viet Nam conflict he flew F-4 Phantom jets out of Thailand into North Viet Nam, served as a Forward Air Controller, was 82nd Airborne qualified and 101st Air Assault qualified. He will speak about, among MANY other things, the high value bombing targets of Headquarters positions and Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant ("POLs") positions. He will expound upon our nation's own Strategic Petroleum Reserve stockpiles and their importance to our military refueling efforts, especially for the Air Force fighter pilots and bombing efforts.
Join us Monday, November 9th as we recognize our Veteran's for their courage and dedication.
All Veteran's lunches are free so if you know of any fellow veteran landmen that may not have received this email, please reach out to invite them to this event.
The Petroleum Club and the LAPL will practice current social distancing guidelines. For Veterans unable to attend in person we will be offering a Zoom Meeting format.
