November Veterans Luncheon
Guest speaker: Moon Griffon
Please join us Friday, November 19th as we host our Veterans luncheon, which we welcome all Veterans to attend for free.
Our speaker will be Mr. Moon Griffon. Known as "The Voice of Louisiana”, Moon Griffon was born and raised in Plaquemine, Louisiana, Moon mixes common sense thinking with his own brand of Cajun flavor. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. An avid fisherman, Moon will travel anywhere to put a hook in the water. Moon will share up-to-date facts on the current state of the Oil and Gas Industry in Louisiana. Combining politics and personal experience with his charming sense of humor and common sense, Moon is guaranteed to delight any audience.

SPECIAL SUPPLY COLLECTION FOR NEEDY VETERANS – PLEASE SEE BELOW
Also, at the Veteran’s Day luncheon on Nov. 19, in order to help serve veterans in nursing homes many of whom have no family, we will be collecting the following items on behalf of the Galvez Chapter of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution (DAR): Axe Body Spray, Q-tips, shampoo, cologne, mouthwash, men’s deodorant and cash for the purchase of hats, gloves and socks. Monetary donations can be made to Galvez Chapter. Please keep these heroes in your minds and hearts when you see these items throughout the year at Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Please note that supplies and/or monetary contributions can be brought to the luncheon on Friday, November 19!
