Greg Spicer has been the Regional Director in Louisiana for Contract Land Staff, LLC since 2009, where he has managed numerous projects. He has over 18 years of experience in the right of way industry as well as 16 years of experience as an attorney, where he frequently negotiated right of way and easement agreements for clients. Greg has built teams that continually exceeded goals for productivity. He has established, set up and organized right of way land offices while also creating policies and procedures for survey permission, title research, title review, title curative, right of way acquisition and construction monitoring.
Greg has been involved in many areas of the professional land industry, including survey permission, title research and review, title curative, acquisition, contract negotiations and in the negotiation, drafting and analyzing of right of way and real estate contracts, deeds, and agreements. His experience as an attorney has provided him a unique knowledge and understanding in dealing effectively with attorneys, large landowner groups and property in litigation. He has significant experience in and out of court with condemnation cases and has testified as an expert witness for clients at hearings.
Greg has maintained the Louisiana regional office and managed numerous pipeline related projects for clients, including Driftwood Pipeline, LLC, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., Cheniere Energy, Inc., Sasol, Williams Energy, Phillips 66, TC Energy, Atmos and Kinder Morgan. Greg is currently involved in managing a large carbon capture, sequestration, and utilization (CCSU) project in southeast Louisiana.
Greg is a native of south Louisiana, and was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. He attended the University of Southwest Louisiana (now ULL). He received his bachelor’s degree in management in 1985 and attended Loyola School Law where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1989.
